West Bengal ,India . Founded in the year 1996, it is the oldest privately funded engineering school in the state of West Bengal. Primarily known for its undergraduate degrees inElectronics and Communications Engineering ,Computer Science and Engineering andInformation Technology , IEM also offers two yearMasters of Business Administration (MBA) courses. These MBA courses are offered with specializations inComputer Systems ,Marketing ,Human Resources andFinance . From the middle of 2005, IEM started accepting students for its Doctoral program. In the middle of 2006, IEM started offering graduate level degrees in Communications Engineering as well. Alongside with these major disciplines, IEM also offers three yearBachelor of Business Administration (the undergrad level equivalent of MBA) and a distance learning course on MBA as well. From the academic year 2007-2008 IEM is offering a postgraduate degree course (Master of Science) in Information Sciences.As of May 2006, all the three undergraduate disciplines of IEM has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation,AICTE , a national regulatory body that concerns with the quality of Technical courses in India.Faculty

IEM also has its own administrative unit located at SDF building, Saltlake Electronics Complex which is separate from other four campus locations.External links
