DRIEMS (Dhaneswar Rath Institute of Engineering and Management Studies) is a technical institute in the Cuttack district of Orissa, India. Located in Tangi, the campus is 15 kilometres from Cuttack and about 40 kilometers from the capital city of Bhubaneswar. The institute was established in 1999. In the academic year 2004-2005 the MBA program was started. DRIEMS is now affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology(BPUT). From the year 1999 to the year 2003 it was affiliated to Utkal University. The chairman of this institute is an industrialist in orissa Mr. Pramod Chandra Rath. DRIEMS was named after his father Mr. Dhaneswar Rath. DRIEMS facilitates B.Tech program in 7 different branches such as Electrical engg. Electronics nd tele communication Engg. computer science and Engg., Information and technology, mechanical Engg [1]
