"Close to You" is a song recorded by British reggae singer Maxi Priest. It reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 on 6 October 1990, reached #2 on the ARIA Charts in Australia and #7 on the UK Singles Chart, and was covered by trance act Origene in 2003.
