railway station of the town ofBeaconsfield inBuckinghamshire . The station is served byChiltern Railways trains from Marylebone towardsHigh Wycombe and Birmingham Snow Hill and is situated between Seer Green & Jordans and High Wycombe stations.The station was built as part of the construction of the GWR/GCR joint line and opened in 1906. The original station layout was four track, with two through roads and two platform roads, but the through roads have since been removed and trains now use the platform tracks. Recently, as part of Chiltern's Project Evergreen 2 the platform roads were upgraded to increase the linespeed for through trains from 40mph to 75mph. There is a taxi cab company based at the station.
