next_route=364New York State Route 363 is a north-south limited-access
state highway in Binghamton, Broome County,New York , linkingNew York State Route 434 at its southern terminus withNew York State Route 7 at its northern terminus.Route description
NY 363 begins at an interchange with NY 434 in downtown Binghamton on the north shore of the
Susquehanna River near the confluence of the Susquehanna andChenango River s. The route, a limited-access extension of Riverside Drive known as North Shore Drive, heads northeast along the riverbank and around the downtown district to aparclo interchange with U.S. Route 11 (Court Street) just east ofNYSEG Stadium . Past US 11, the expressway leaves the Susquehanna and heads northward over theNorfolk Southern Railway 'sSouthern Tier Line before merging with NY 7 northbound and terminating a few blocks later, with NY 7 continuing north on the freeway. Aside from exits for NY 7, US 11, and NY 434, an additional exit exists for Susquehanna Street on NY 363 southbound.Due to the presence of the Susquehanna River south of the freeway, the onramps from NY 434 north and Susquehanna Street (via Carroll Street) to NY 363 north are actually located north of NY 363 southbound for a short distance (thus running antiparallel to traffic on 363 southbound) before passing under NY 363 south and merging with 363 northbound on the left-hand side of the road.
