Sam Hurrell (born
July 13 1988 ) is an English footballer who is currently unattached. He grew up inIckenham and attendedVyners School . He played for North Greenford United from 2003 - 2005.Hurrell was the Series 1 winner of the
Football Icon competition onSky One in 2005, which earned him a professional contract with Chelsea. He played for Chelsea's youth team, and he made a couple of appearances for the reserves. He also played in the 2006Milk Cup .He was released at the end of the 2007 season and had a trial with Leyton Orient and has also had a trial with Bradford City, but was unsuccessful in being offered a contract.
Currently Hurrell is training with Northampton Town, with the view to achieving a permanent deal.
Sam is considering taking up an opportunity to enroll at Roehampton University on a Sports course. He is also considering a scholarship deal with an American university if all else fails.Fact|date=August 2008
In February 2008, Sam took up a coaching role at
Tottenham Hotspur .Fact|date=August 2008Since summer 2008, Sam has actually been coaching children aged 18 months to 5 years old for Little Kickers, Running Courses in South Oxhey and Watford.
On 17th September 2008 Sam signed a contract with St Albans City after a successful trial.
