The Hong Kong national rugby union team is the third tier rugby playing nation of Hong Kong. They first played in 1969 and have played 78 games to date. They have yet to qualify for the Rugby World Cup. Rugby union in Hong Kong is administered by the Hong Kong Rugby Football Union.

Hong Kong recently took part in the Asian world cup final qualifying round where they were against the two best teams in Asia which are Japan and Korea. In the 1st match against Japan, the resilient Hong Kong side lost 52-3 where the only points for Hong Kong came from a Rob Naylor penalty. In the 2nd match between Hong Kong and Korea it was a fiery encounter but Korea were the top team with 23-5 win over the hosts. The only try came from HKFC winger Ricky Cheuk who received a brilliant cross field kick from HKCC's Colin Bisley.
