Lillian M. N. Stevens (1844-1914) was an American temperance worker, born at Dover,

After attending the local Foxcroft Academy and Westbrook Seminary near Portland, she taught school for several years."] , She was married to Michael Stevens ofPortland, Maine , in 1867. In 1874 she assisted in founding the Maine Woman's Christian Temperance Union, of which she was treasurer in 1874-77 and thenceforth president until her death. She was vice president of the National W.C.T.U. in 1894-98, and after the death of Miss Frances Willard in the latter year was president until her own death. Mrs. Stevens was a lady manager of the Chicago Exposition in 1892-93, and served as Maine representative on theNational Conference of Charities and Correction for many years. In 1911 she received the honorary degree of A.M. fromBates College .References
