2008 – CurrentCol. Sona Ram is an Indian politician, a member of the Indian National Congress political party and a former member of the Lok Sabha representing Barmer constituency in Rajasthan, India.[1][2]
Education and career
He did B.E., Fellow (F.I.E.) from M.B.M. Engineering College, Jodhpur (Rajasthan) and Institute of Engineers (India). He passed out of the Indian Military Academy in 1966 and commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Artillery Corps of the Indian Army. He served in 1971 War in Eastern Front. He retired from the Army as a Full Colonel in 1987.[3]
