"The Getaway" is singer Chris de Burgh's 6th original album, released on A&M Records in 1982. The album was spearheaded by the U.S. hit, "Don't Pay the Ferryman", a strangely upbeat, mythology-tinged ballad that evokes images of the Grim Reaper.
