Vernal Regional Airport Airport codes|VEL|KVEL|VEL, formerly known as Vernal - Uintah County Airport, is a public airport located one mile (2 km) southeast of the central business district of Vernal, a city in Uintah County, Utah, United States. It is owned by Uintah County and Vernal City. It is mostly used for general aviation, but is served by one commercial airline. Service is subsidized by the Essential Air Service program.

Air Midwest, operating as US Airways Express, commenced service on July 2, 2006, with flights to Salt Lake City International Airport.
