Mansfield Woodhouse railway station serves the town of Mansfield Woodhouse which adjoins the larger town of Mansfield. They are located in Nottinghamshire, England.

The station on the Robin Hood Line between Nottingham and Worksop.

Services

The station sees two services, an hourly Nottingham-Worksop (and return) and hourly Nottingham-Mansfield Woodhouse which terminates before returning. During the evening the Nottingham-Mansfield Woodhouse service does not run. A Sunday service was introduced in December 2008.

Future

Former operator Central Trains was replaced by East Midlands Trains from November 2007. The franchise is operated by the Stagecoach group who have announced the introduction of an hourly Sunday service from December 2008. A new timetable will come into force from 8 December.[clarification needed] From 12 July[clarification needed] the first service in the morning and the last service back on a Sunday will be extended to Skegness, providing the opportunity for a day out in Skegness by rail.
