TrentBarton 141 service connect passengers to the town centre, the eastern estate and the surrounding villages, stopping on the roadbridge above the station, or adjacent to the Tesco Extra.The Tesco Extra and the Ashgate Retail Park (occupiers presently unknown) are located close to the station.

Monday to Saturday daytimes, there is a half-hourly service from Hucknall to Nottingham (southbound) and Mansfield Woodhouse (northbound) with one train an hour extending to Worksop. Evenings there is an hourly service in each direction with no Sunday service.

Former operator
Central Trains has now been replaced by a new company calledEast Midlands Trains in November 2007 which operates all services in the East Midlands.
