International career
He was a member of Serbia and Montenegro for the 2006 FIFA World Cup. He was the 2nd player on the team born in Montenegro.
He was called-up by the Serbian national team for a friendly match (and the first as Serbia) against the Czech Republic on August 4, 2006. He did not play in the match as then-coach Javier Clemente chose to use Vladimir Stojković instead which upset Jevrić and led him to retire from international football. He said he will not play anymore for either Serbia or Montenegro.[1]
