Fate of a Dreamer is Ambeon's debut album, released in 2001 by Dutch music label Transmission Records. All of the ten tracks feature samples from and arrangements of Ayreon's songs, as noted below. The album is currently out of print, due to the closing of Transmission. However, as of 2011, there are plans to re-release the album.

"Cold Metal" is the only single from this album, and the only by Ambeon. It has samples of Ayreon's "Into the Black Hole", from the album Universal Migrator Part 2: Flight of the Migrator.
