The Canadian Aviation Expo (CAE) is Canada’s largest aviation event, combining a three day tradeshow with a
fly-in . Except for 2007 it has included an airshow. The Expo is held annually at the end of June at theOshawa Airport inOntario . The event started as the "Toronto Sport Aircraft Expo" in 1992 and was held in a downtown Toronto convention centre. Later it was renamed the "Toronto Aviation and Aircraft Show" and was moved to the
Air Canada hangar atToronto Pearson International Airport and later to Downsview Airport in north Toronto. The move to its current location was made in 2002 and the name was changed to "Canadian Aviation Expo" at the same time.Management
Principals in the operation of the show since 2002 have been Stephen Wilcox and Steve Nichols.
