This 88-acre (36 ha) landlocked area contains the intersection of the principal meridian and the baseline used for the Michigan Survey. The park is marked with two small monuments that show where the two mismatched baselines meet the principal meridian. The park is accessible to the public, but does not provide accommodations for parking and traveling to the monuments. It is also notoriously flooded most of the year. It is currently being preserved for its historic value[1].
