He has been working in television for nearly thirty years, primarily as a writer. He has written for "
Into the Night with Rick Dees ", "In Living Color ", "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air ", "The PJs " (which he co-created), "The Bernie Mac Show " (which he created) and "The Office", on which he appeared in two episodes, "Diversity Day ", and "Gay Witch Hunt ", as the character Mr. Brown. He also wrote the episode "Performance Review ". He has also made appearances on such television series as "The Facts of Life", "Sister, Sister" and "How I Met Your Mother ".In March 2006, "
