New York City borough ofQueens , on theLong Island Rail Road 'sPort Washington Branch . The station is part ofCityTicket . The station is located east of an overpass at the intersection of 162nd Street and Northern Boulevard and is 11.1 miles (17.9 km) from Penn Station inMidtown Manhattan . Renovation in 2008 added wheelchair ramps.Broadway was the old name used for the section of Northern Boulevard passing through Flushing and Auburndale. By the 1930s, the name changed in order to avoid confusion with another Broadway located in western Queens.
