The first year is called Year 7 and the last year is called Year 11, when the students can leave to attend college, get a modern apprenticeship or getemployment .All students are separated into tutor groups of around 30, which are led by a tutor. The tutor takes the register each day and cares for the pupils during their five years at the school. The tutors are called A, B, C, H, M, X, such as 7C or 11X.
