Miss Kentucky Teen USA

The Miss Kentucky Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Kentucky in the Miss Teen USA pageant.

Kentucky is ranked eight in terms of place and value of placements across all twenty-three years of competition at Miss Teen USA. When this is broken down to the six pageants 2000-2005, Kentucky places second [1]. They are one of only five states to have won more than one Photogenic award [2].

Miss Kentucky Teen USA 2002 Tara Conner, who placed second runner-up to Vanessa Semrow at Miss Teen USA, later became Miss Kentucky USA 2006. She is one of three teens to cross over to the corresponding Miss title, although one went on to compete at Miss America.
