Please note: methodology may vary year on year. Manea railway station, on the line between Peterborough and Ely, serves the village of Manea (pronounced /ˈmeɪniː/) in Cambridgeshire, England. It was proposed for closure under the Beeching report of 1963 but was repreived due to "the acute social hardship this would cause".
One of the peculiarities of the post-privatised railway is that Manea is operated by National Express East Anglia, despite its not running any services from the station. Similar situations exist along the route from Birmingham New Street.
Services
Mondays to Saturdays, there are two daily trains in each direction operated by CrossCountry. There are two eastbound services to Cambridge and Stansted Airport, with two westbound services to Peterborough, Leicester and Birmingham New Street.
There is no Sunday service.
