Texas Ranger and former Cy-Fair board member. Cook's law enforcement career is also honored in the school's mascot (the Rangers) and logo (a depiction of the Texas Ranger badge).It is part of the
Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District . Graduating students proceed ontoJersey Village High School after the 8th grade. The first principal was Ms. Aragon. She was an assistant principal atCy-Fair High School and principal at Dean Middle School before her role as first principal at Cook, and left in 1989 to be principal of Cypress Creek High School until her 1996 retirement [http://schools.cfisd.net/aragon/profile_arag.htm#how] .Aragon Middle School in Cy-Fair ISD was named after her.Sherma Duck is currently the principal of Cook Middle School.
