The Daughters of St Paul is a Roman Catholic international religious congregation founded in 1915 in Italy.
The congregation is part of the worldwide Pauline family, consisting of ten orders and lay institutes, all founded by Blessed Giacomo Alberione, and operates in 50 countries around the world. Ven. Thecla Merlo (born Teresa Merlo) assisted in the founding and development of the Daughters of St. Paul and other Pauline institutes that developed throughout the 20th century.
The Daughters of St. Paul are called to live by the way, truth and life of Jesus and to give this to the world by the use of every available means of communication to spread the Gospel and promote the dignity of all peoples.
