Woodlands Foundation

Serenely nestled in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, the Woodlands Foundation is a 32-acre camp, retreat and meeting facility dedicated to enriching the lives fo children and adults with disability and chronic illness. The independent, nonprofit Woodlands Foundation was formed in 1998.

Activities

The Woodlands is committed to enriching the lives of children and adults with disability and chronic illness in western Pennsylvania by providing programs that support and strengthen their development of socialization skills, creative expression, environmental awareness, recreation and spirituality. The Woodlands partners with charitable organizations that serve persons with disabilities and chronic illnesses, offering its fully-accessible facilities and varied resources to these organizations for summer camps, weekend retreats, respite days, organizational meetings, and recreational outings.
