(2001)Osc-Dis (Oscillator in Distortion) is the ninth album from The Mad Capsule Markets. This album finally got them recognized overseas, with the single "Pulse". They also started using the Amen break (a popular drumbreak used by drum n bass artists). Other highlights on the album included the ska meets punk-metal sound of "Island", the pop punk/rap metal song "Good Girl" (which was dedicated to Motokatsu's daughter) and the techno metal dance of "Tribe". There also a vocal contributions from Hirosuke from Balzac, Yamada from Geronimo, and Katsya from NND. This album also saw the birth of the band's mascots The White Crusher and The Cyborn.
The song "Pulse" appears on the in-game soundtrack to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3.
