Scouting in South Australia

Scouting in South Australia is predominantly represented by the branch of Scouts Australia in the State of South Australia. It was founded in 1908 soon after the foundation of Scouting in the United Kingdom. There is also representation by the Baden-Powell Scouts' Association, which was founded in May 1984 in Tasmania, and a little later independently in Adelaide, South Australia.

There are 18 Scouts Australia Districts in South Australia:-

* Yorke Peninsulaplus Lone Scouts - for youth too far away from a regular meeting place

Rovering in SA
