West Ashby is a village and civil parish in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England, about a mile north of the market town of Horncastle. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 252.

The village lies on the A153 between Horncastle and Louth. The civil parish includes the hamlets of Farthorpe, Middlethorpe, and Furze Hills (once known as Northorpe, a plague village[1]).

All Saints parish church, which was extensively restored between 1848 and 1873, has a sign where the word 'SAINTS' is spelt with a backwards letter 'N'.

Horncastle's golf club is located at West Ashby Country Park, where the road, Shearman's Wath, crosses the River Bain. The remains of a henge monument can be found just west of the village, off Docking Lane.
