New York Review Books Classics

New York Review Books Classics is a series of titles released under the publishing imprint New York Review Books. This series' project is reintroducing some of the many remarkable books that have fallen out of print, or simply out of mainstream attention. The series, now in its eighth year, has been a notable success with the public and the press and currently includes more than 250 titles. The series has garnered worldwide praise including acclaim from "The Washington Post", "Newsday", "Town and Country", "The Guardian", "Elle", "Vogue", and many others.

Some of the titles include Richard Hughes' story of childhood, "A High Wind in Jamaica" and Robert Burton's exhaustive "The Anatomy of Melancholy". They have published a number of less-known works by authors like Henry James and Malcolm Lowry.

The series is also known for its frequent publication of international authors who have received neither wide press nor wide acclaim within the United States, including authors like Alberto Moravia and Colette.
