It was released in 1995 on Runt Records. The 2001 Plain Recordings reissue adds the song "Great Expectations" as the eighth track. The cover art depicts text superimposed over a male torso. The album features Steve Shelley on drums and Tim Foljean on guitar. Chan Marshall does the singing and plays guitar as well. It is the shortest Cat Power album, not counting her EPs.
