Established in 1966, the University of Bath School of Management is one of the oldest business schools in the UK. It offers a range of programmes including undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD, as well as executive education for individuals and organisations. The world-ranked Bath MBA is offered as a one-year full-time programme or as a part-time Executive programme.The School of Management is the Management School of the University of Bath. Overlooking the UNESCO-designated World Heritage City of Bath, the campus is modern with some of the best sporting facilities in the country.

In the 2009 Complete University Guide ranking, published by The Independent, Bath is placed joint second with Imperial College in its Business Studies category. Of the top four ranked Schools, Bath had the highest student satisfaction result and the second highest figure in the Graduate Prospects category.

Specialist/ Executive programmes

In addition to its core degrees, the University of Bath School of Management is well known for its specialist programmes. The unique MSc in Responsibility and Business Practice has been running for over ten years and was the first degree of its kind to explore issues around corporate social responsibility, sustainability, social justice and the role of business in society. In addition the Engineering Management Partnership programme is specially designed for professional engineers, scientists and technologists and the School also provides a range of tailored Executive Development programmes for middle and senior management.

Faculty

The School of Management has a faculty of 90 teaching and research staff, including visiting academics, with a support team of around 70 managerial and administrative staff. All academics are members of a teaching subject group, a research cluster and often a research centre/ network.
