It shares facilities with the town's Ulsterbus bus depot.
The station opened on 4 December 1855 and was closed for goods traffic on 4 January 1965.[1] The passenger station remains open, for trains to Belfast, Derry and Portrush.
Service
Mondays to Saturdays there is a two-hourly service towards Derry Waterside or Belfast Great Victoria Street on the Belfast-Derry line and an hourly service towards Portrush on the Coleraine-Portrush line with some services on this line extending to Belfast Great Victoria Street and extra services at peak times.[2]
On Sundays there are five trains in each direction on the Belfast-Derry line and a two hourly service on the Coleraine-Portrush line.[2]
