Wayne Grady (author)

Wayne Grady (born 1948) is a Canadian writer, editor, and translator; currently working as the science editor of "Equinox".

Grady won the 1989 Governor General's Award for French to English translation for "On the eighth day" and the John Glassco Prize for Literary Translation for "Christopher Cartier of Hazelnut".

He has recently written "Bringing Back the Dodo" (2006), a collection of intuitive and humbling essays on our history with the natural world, extinction, and our effects on the planet.

He is married to writer Merilyn Simonds.
