List of The Boondocks episodes

The following is a list of episodes for the Adult Swim animated television series The Boondocks. Created as a derivative of the comic strip from which it originated, the series premiered on November 6, 2005 after receiving generally positive reviews from national critics. 45 episodes have been produced over three seasons.[1] In 2011 it was announced that The Boondocks has been renewed for a fourth season, which will consist of 20 episodes.[2]

Season 4

In a 2011 interview, cast member John Witherspoon announced that the series had been renewed for a fourth season, which will consist of 20 episodes. Voice Casting director Andrea Romano stated at Comic Con 2011 that season four of The Boondocks is headed into production despite no official confirmation from either Aaron McGruder or Adult Swim.[4]
