Anthology is a compilation album released by World Wrestling Entertainment in 2002. It consists of 3 discs entitled, "The Federation Years", "The Attitude Era", and "Now!". "Anthology" contains 86 songs in total. Its sequel, "WWE Anthology II", is scheduled for release in late 2008 or early 2009. The album is a compilation of some of the best and most well-known entrance music in the WWF/WWE. [cite web|url=http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25176909/|title=Music a key element in WWE brand profile|accessdate=2008-06-15] The compilation was presumably released as, after a lawsuit with the World Wildlife Fund, a name change meant that WWE could no longer sell their previous albums containing songs from the first two discs.
