Biography
Neelima Azeem's father was Anwar Azeem, a prominent Marxist journalist and Urdu author , who was the grand son of film director, screen writer, Urdu novelist and journalist Khwaja Ahmad Abbas.[1] She got married to Pankaj Kapoor but later got divorced. Her son Shahid Kapoor is a Bollywood actor.
Career
Azeem studied the Kathak form of Indian classical dance under Birju Maharaj and Munna Shukla.[2] She is known in India for her roles in television shows. She also worked in the Hindi movie Sadak opposite Deepak Tijori.
