Ray Brown (trumpeter)

Ray Brown was trumpeter and section leader of the Earth, Wind, & Fire horns until 2004. Ray joined Earth, Wind & Fire in 1987 when the band returned from a four year hiatus from the music industry. Ray was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy in 2004 and was forced to retire from the band. He was replaced by Bobby Burns, Jr.
