The Glenelg River is in the Kimberley region of Western Australia in north western Australia. The mouth is at coord|15|49|S|124|44|E|region:AU-WA_type:river. It was first explored in 1837 by a party led by George Edward Grey, but they were poorly prepared and ill-equipped.
