He can also play as a centre back.
Career
He began his career in 1999/2000 for his home team, before moving in 2000/01 to Amica Wronki. He made his debut in April 2000 for Amica Wronki. He appeared over 70 times for Wisla Kraków. In June 2008 he joined AJ Auxerre.
He has 58 caps to his name for the Polish national team, and played in both the 2006 FIFA World Cup and Euro 2008.
