He was drafted 78th overall by the New Jersey Devils in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft and made his NHL debut for the Predators during the 1999–2000 NHL season. He currently plays for Saguenay 98.3 of the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey.
He was married in 1993 and had his first child in 1995 named Joshua David Gosselin.
