Carlos Eduardo dos Santos Galvão Bueno, usually known as Galvão Bueno, is a Brazilian sports commentator famous nationwide for his affiliation with Globo TV, where he is the head of the sports department and the official host of
Formula One races, National Team matches, key Brazilian football matches and most important sports events.Born on
July 21 ,1950 , inRio de Janeiro city, the son of an actress, Mildred dos Santos, and a journalist, Aldo Viana Galvão Bueno, he is married to the journalist Desirée Soares and lives inLondrina , Paraná with his wife and his younger son, Luca. His two elder sons (Carlos and Paulo), both from his first marriage, are car racers. Carlos "Cacá" Bueno and Paulo "Popó" Bueno are both in the Brazilian Stock Car series, after long careers which included some time in European categories.Bueno's style is flashy, pointed with superlative adjectives, and a passionate approach, though keeping a low tone most of time.
