Turrella is a railway station on Sydney's CityRail East Hills Line. It is the first stationIt serves the Sydney suburb of Turrella. The station has a single island platform serving the local tracks, which retains its 1930s original brick station building. As is the convention in Sydney, platform 1 is for Sydney bound trains, and platform 2 is for outbound trains towards East Hills. Immediately east of the station, points allow crossing over of trains between the Main (express) and Local (all stations) tracks, allowing either express or local services to access the underground Airport Line. Points also allow down trains (travelling away from Sydney) to terminate at Turrella, although this manoeuvre is not currently scheduled in the timetable
