- Middleton Bus Station
Middleton Bus Station is a bus station located in the town of Middleton in
Greater Manchester . The bus station is found next to the Middleton Arndale shopping centre on the site of the old bus station. The new bus station was opened in 2005 and is run by GMPTE.There are 13 stands in the bus station, A to N, with some of the stands operating a drive-in/reverse out system with the others operating a drive-through system. There are two entrances in to the bus station, one from Park Road/Manchester New Road junction, and the other from Middleton Way from a dedicated bus lane. There is only one exit from the bus station, onto Middleton Way, with priority signals being used to allow buses to rejoin the main carriagway.

There are a number of services that use Middleton Bus Station. The majority of services are run by
First Manchester and Bluebird with the remaining services operated byAshall's Coaches ,JP Travel andSpeedwellbus .Rossendale Transport also provide a school bus service from Middleton Bus Station as well as a seasonal service toBlackpool andFleetwood .There are frequent buses running to
Manchester ,Oldham ,Rochdale andBury plus several parts of the Middleton area includingAlkrington , Boarshaw, Hollin, Langley, Moston and Rhodes.
