Perth, Western Australia , located within theCity of Wanneroo . Its postcode is 6036.Butler is a recently established suburb developed by Satterley's a Western Australian land development company. It has been marketed under the name of "Brighton Estate-Butler".
The suburb name was adopted by the Shire of Wanneroo in 1979 to honour John Butler who was the first recorded explorer of the area in 1834.
