P.E.S. Institute of Technology and Management is an engineering and management college located in Shimoga, Karnataka, India. It is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.[2][3] The sources of funding of the institute were mired in controversy in 2011, when the trust running the college was alleged to have received kickbacks from the Bellary illegal mining scam involving B.S. Yeddyurappa and his sons. [4]
