Oystor is a web-based software product based on cloud computing technology, as the name suggests it is about storing information in a secured cloud. Based on an internet subscription model, Oystor allows users to upload documents, pictures and videos and share them with the users contacts and enabling the user to tag and categorize them. Theory behind the name :Just as an Oyster keeps the pearl safe, Oystor is a product that keeps you personal documents in a safe and encrypted place for the user to store and share vital documents.

The data is encrypted the files sent over the web, i.e. is it via an SSL connection that is secure with a 256-bit SSL encryption. This means you can upload and store your documents as well as share with your contacts in a safe and secure network. Data stored in a dedicated server – that is hosted by trusted providers such as SingTel.
