Organization is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes papers in the field of Management. The journal's editors are Martin Parker (Warwick Business School) and Robyn Thomas (Cardiff Business School). It has been in publication since 1994 and is currently published by SAGE Publications.

Scope

Organization aims to address issues and perspectives in a neo-disciplinary manor by providing a forum for dialogue in organization studies and by addressing current and emergent theoretical, meta theoretical and substantive developments in the field. The journal focuses on interdisciplinary studies, and publishes papers which are theory-driven and critical.

Organization is abstracted and indexed in, among other databases: SCOPUS, and the Social Sciences Citation Index. According to the Journal Citation Reports, its 2010 impact factor is 1.488, ranking it 61 out of 140 journals in the category ‘Management’.[1]
