Organization & Environment (O&E) (ISSN: 1086-0266 )is an international journal recognized for its unique focus on ecosocial research, emphasizing studies on organizations, institutions, and nature. Consequently it investigates and analyzes social organizing, inclusive of formal and informal approaches, and its connections with various aspects of the natural environment (air, water, animals, etc).
Ecosocial research - any interdisciplinary study of social organizing as it relates to the natural world.[1]
The environment, and several issues relative to it, are the key concern of O&E contributors. These environmental issues are all examined within the context of the intricate social causes and consequences surrounding them. They are: environmental damage, its restoration, sustainability and liberation.[2]
Publication
O&E is published by SAGE Publications, Thousand Oaks, CA. on a quarterly basis - March, June, September, December. A sample issue can be viewed online at the SAGE external link, below.
