Opel K-180 Manufacturer General Motors Argentina Production 1974–1979 Predecessor Chevrolet 400 (Chevy II) Successor GMC Chevette Body style Sedan / Hatchback The Opel K-180 was manufactured by GM Argentina from 1974–1979, and is a variation on General Motors' first World Car based on the General Motors T-car platform which includes Opel Kadett, Chevrolet Chevette and Isuzu Gemini, made and/or sold globally is several versions. This model of the compact car differed from the German model as it had a 1.8 engine designed entirely in Argentina. It was a replaced by the GMC Chevette in 1980.
