"Only the Wind" is the title of a song written by Tom Shapiro and Chuck Jones, and recorded by American country music singer Billy Dean. It was released in December 1991 as the second single from his second studio album, 1992's Billy Dean. The song spent twenty weeks on the Hot Country Songs charts in 1992, peaking at number four.^[1]
